Beginner Curtain and Blind Making

£75.00

Tired of the same old trip to that famous Swedish store? Ready to save a fortune and add a personal touch to your home? Join Alison Leese, expert seamstress and owner of Ministry of Craft, for a hands-on workshop where you’ll master the art of making your own curtains and blinds!

In the first part of our workshop, dive into curtains, exploring a variety of accessories including fabrics and linings, header tapes, and fittings. You’ll also master the art of calculating fabric quantities like a pro. You’ll then get hands-on experience by creating a ‘mini’ curtain complete with lining and mitred corners.

Next, you’ll move on to blinds, where you’ll learn to sew a lined Roman blind from scratch. You’ll master the use of essential accessories such as Roman blind tape, rods, cord, and Velcro, ensuring your blind is fully operational.

Armed with a whole host of hints and tips and a sample of a mini curtain and blind, you’ll leave with both the knowledge and confidence to tackle your own window projects at home and will never need to buy curtains or blinds again.

To gift this workshop, select ‘Purchase as a Workshop Gift Voucher’ from the below menu and you will receive a PDF voucher by email for your recipient to attend on any available date.  Alternatively purchase a Gift Voucher for any value to use on any workshop and date.
